M3u Favourites
Hello. When I set Favourites they show up in the Favourites folder no problem. The problem is that when my provider adds or removes channels, the channels in the Favourites folder don't remain the same. I am using the m3u system. Is there something that can be done please? Thanks
Re: M3u Favourites
Yes, this is a very annoying bug/issue.
Re: M3u Favourites
That's because M3U protocol does not have a real "channel id" to track for Favorites.
Re: M3u Favourites
This is also a big dealbreaker for me. When you have so many channels
you need to have a functioning "favourites system".
As soon as my provider change anything it´s always chaos with my favourites.
According to memeber "TMC" above this is because the m3u protocol does not have a "real channel id".
BUT, and it´s a big BUT (T) , if I use my android-smartphone with for instance the app "iptv extreme"
there is NEVER any problems. The channels stays in the apps favourite folder, they just get another channelnumber
and that´s no problem. Howcome the androidphone has no problem with this?
If TVIP doesn´t fix this issue soon I´m going to buy an android TV-box instead,
to be used with an app like "iptv extreme".

Re: M3u Favourites
I agree, no point of having the ”favourites” function if it doesnt handle it correctly for M3U links/protocol.
I have introduced TVIP to many friends, but if this is not fixed, I can not recommend it any longer. Dealbreaker.

Its a problem in WebPortal also
When adding favourites, they cant be removed.

I think the favourite issue at web portal (Stalker) are due to some other issues.Zoorg wrote:Its a problem in WebPortal also

I had same issues when I had a MAG 254.
Which I might expect that TVIP cannot themselves fix.
But the internal tv player (”Watch TV”) are built by themselves which also mean that TVIP should be able to fix it.
Re: M3u Favourites
Any update with this issue?
This prevents me to using the native IPTV player. And also still stops me to recommend this box to friends.
And that is a shame since its a great box but with very poor UI.
And I refuse to use the stalker/MAG Portal UI, its 2020 and I dont want to go back to 1998...
