We have deployed many s410 stb’s. Now we have 3 pcs s410 stbs’s hang on boot logo. STB do not start – remote control button presses do not work, s-info + 19, 49 do not work. When we reboot (remove power) stb hangs again on boot logo. We try to recover firmware. Recovery menu WORKS! But sadly after recovery firmware upgrade flashing stb completely dead. What we do:
1. We download http://update.tvip.ru/stb/s410/linux-qt ... re.ota.zip
2. We save this file to usb flash
3. We start stb in recovery mode (we press del on remote control when stb power on)
4. We select update from EXT → Update from udisk -> tvip_firmware.ota.zip
5. Upgrade complete -> reboot
6. After reboot device do not boot - black screen. We cannot invoke Recovery again
Firstly (after upgrade) red button start to bright, we waiting … Black screen… After five minutes we remove power. After powering only blue button is shining, no function is working.
7. We try extract content of http://update.tvip.ru/stb/s410/recovery_sd_s410.tgz to sd card and we add to sd card tvip_firmware.ota.zip to emulate auto recovery – but nothing works…
Sadly we ship one device to seller for RMA but seller 6months do not repair device. Maybe we can send to Tvip company directly?
