I bought box v.605 and am very satisfied however the time-shift does not work. I am using a usb disk and m3u link.

I have the same problem.
I have the latest version(4.0.13) on my 605 which seems to introduce this ”bug”.
Previous version, it worked (somewhat).

I have tried with USB-memory, USB-harddrive and new MicroSD card (that supports up to 100MB/s recording) but it doesn’t work. USB units all were formated with ExFAT.

Nothing happens when I press the pause button. I see the pause sign on top left part of screen but nothing happens.

I can also add that the box has always complained slow write speed, despite type of media that I have used.

Note that I’m using the internal TV player with M3U-link with TS ending.

It depends on the type of stream. If it is some kind of HLS, it will not work.

As I wrote, it’s a TS stream.
Which worked in previous software version (4.0.11).
But not in current version.

As I mentioned, same channel could be paused on v 4.0.11 but not any longer on 4.0.13.

I switched to android on my v 412 and timeshift started working again.

Any news about this?
Still not working (using the latest version 4.0.20).
Still only using TS streams, as I mentioned, it stopped working since 4.0.11 version.
Recording works but when pressing the play/pause button the sign "paus" appear for a second but no pausing happens...
Please fix!

Can you send us contents of your USB storage for analysis?

Not sure about what content will help you but after three succeful recording, I get these files:
(Note that timeshiftstill not working)

.tvip
.tvip\tvip_deviceid
.tvip\10-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX (my box mac adress)
.tvip\10-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX\tvip_timeshift\ (this folder is empty)

.tvip\tvip_recordings
.tvip\tvip_recordings\(three different folders, each per recording. Foldernames are long with hexadecimal characters).
.tvip\tvip_recordings\...\(each folder contain three files:)

00001 (mpeg-2 ts video, .ts)
Info (xml file)
tvip_recording.idx

Can you please provide the 4.0.11 firmware to me, so I can retest it?
As I mentioned, this stopped work with 4.0.13 firmware.

To be clear, I'm doing this when using built-in tv player and software, not any emulator such as MAG or similar.
