is it possible to load a m3u playlist directly from a web address (auto sync or startup) instead of using a m3u static file ?

If you mean TV channels, of course you can enter URL in M3U settings.

I have no idea where to get EPG data. All XMLTV and JTV source should work.

You can record two channels at the same time while watching a third channel. But quality, of course, will depend on your connection.
