I have been looking around to find an answer on this topic, but I can't find anyone so I'll try it on you guys.
Linux is clean and need no app to function, but if you switch to android then you need to install an app.
Apps do crash from time to time so do you think it's better to go with linux?
You can't move your favorite or record any channels in linux, you need android for that.
But I'm very doubtful about this using an app. What are your thoughts?
I have an account with tivimate, but I don't how or if I can install this on the box if I switch to android?
Can't find any videoon it
cheers
Linux or Android?

Re: Linux or Android?
Interesting.
I have been struggling with this box for weeks. After using a M3U list (apparently Xtream API is not supported on this device), with many issues (no controls in VOD content is just a minor issue...), I decided to go for Android. Works much better. Install Aptoide TV https://tv.aptoide.com/, TIVIMATE https://tivimates.com/download-apk-tivi ... tv-player/ and the VLC player from Aptoide. Then in TVIMATE switch to external player for VOC content and change the audio settings in VLC so that audio is playable.
A long tedious process, but it works like a charm. The Linux version is horrendous. Unstable and slow.

Re: Linux or Android?
WRONG. Android, m3u and apps are not good as Linux and portals. 605 very stable and exelent for linux and portal. If you have any problem, then the problem are your service provider. You need to changeSjako wrote: ↑13 Sep 2021, 09:45Interesting.
