Install Apps

Hi Experts!!

obviously there are two variants of OS on this box, QT Linux and Android.

I like the QT version its nice and solid, but I would like to be able to install others apps (VPN etc). Has anybody successfully done this and if so how?

Or is it totally locked down so you cannot add things?
