Intermittant lack of video

Hi All,

Has anyone come across this:

Using TVIP SBox v605, TVIP TMS, and rmtp streams. Device connects, authenticates, and opens streams. However when opening the stream, sometimes the video fails to start (audio starts)... switch channel, switch back, and video may start (its 50/50 whether it starts or not)

I don't believe its the s-box - same symptoms appear on mag254. But, try the stream url in VLC, opens 100% of the time....

Does anyone have any idea on what the issue could be? Some kind of sync frame issue in the stream?

What kind of streams do you have?

They are H264 mpeg4 over rtmp

Same streams are available over hls (using authentication), and these run fine, although load slower due to requiring authentication.
