605 firmware 4.1.12 issue

I upgraded both my 605 boxes to the latest firmware version, 4.1.12 and now I have the same issue on both. Changing channels takes forever for the new channel to show the stream. I'm not talking about the UI being slow, but the stream.

I am using M3U setup, with URL going through xtream editor in order to get the EPG.

What exactly means "forever"? How many seconds/minutes?

It varies. Can be 30 seconds to several minutes. But no less than 30 seconds

In the new firmwares, if there is MPEGTS stream over HTTP, it would in some case connect to stream, disconnect and connect again. This is done to resolve issue with Timeshift. Maybe your provider restricts such fast second connection.

I don't know if this is the issue, but it sure is very annoying. Before, no problem. The old saying "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" still applies.

I can't speak for others, but I never had any timeshift issues. Is there a way to downgrade to the previous version? Which BTW was working beautifully. I don't mind the old logo, which is the only visible change as far as I'm concerned.

Yes. No difference. Even setting it to no buffering and rebooting.

This problem has made the 605 boxes I have unworkable. Please provide a fix.
