Question about API and possibilities of my tvip s-410 box

Hello, I'm just aregular user of a IPTV-provider for which I use a tvip s-410 box.

I read about API JS request and stuff on the wiki, is that only something for the IPTV-providers? I can't make a JS request and change channel on my box?

Because then I would be able to make an app on my phone that automaticaly begins to stream my teams football game on the correct channel etc. I know it's totally unnecessary but why not

I could probably use this info: https://wiki.tvip.ru/en/ir_rc_s310_s400 and diy a ESP8266 with a IR sender and build an API for me to change automaticly to different channels... Ahh cheap but complex.

Yes. API are mostly for providers.
For the end user, something related with IR control (like Logitech Harmony remote) would be better.
