Apparently it only affects certain countries according to TVIP, they will launch a fix asap.

hello i have a TVIP s501 my box did an auto update to version 5.0.15 this morning and i am getting stuttering and sound issues - i have no idea where to find software 5.0.16 or how to put it on my box can anyone please help ?

OK - problem resolved found out how to upgrade from youtube and now have 5.0.16 and issue seems to be fixed

Latest update 5.0.7.
Broke sound of lot of different channels.
Only sound heard is white noise.
Reverted back to "stable" 4.2.33. changed from beta to stable.
Sound is ok, on the affected channels.
Please fix if possible.

Did you try to use a new beta 5.0.16?

It seems that firmware 5.0.16 now can play DTS with pass-through without restart or any white noise. I have tested it for a couple of days and so far only issue with one video and that could be an issue with the video and not the box.
