Just put ota.zip to SDCard and hold "Recovery" button on the bottom of STB, while power on.

This is nor answer of your question, but may I ask why you want Android in this TVIP box?
Isn't it best to run Linux? Then you just have to put the portal adress and then it will automatically update channel list.
With Android you need to manually write a very long m3u file into it, right? And if the channel list is changing, you have to update the box with a new m3u file. Or maybe I am wrong. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I am happy with Linux that is the reason why I brought, but the Linux distro is closed and limited we cant install another stull like PopCorn !

What firmware version do you have now and what fw you are trying to install?

On this particular S605 its Linux-qt/beta 4.1.4 at the moment
But when going to recovery it shouldt matter what it is.
I tried to flash with the Linux-qt Standard also, no difference in this matter.
I have tried those

On the TVIP site in information for S605, it says Operating system Linux or Android 8.0 (Oreo)

You need to have Release (4.0.26) Linux system to install legacy Android 6.
