There seems to be a new firmware out 5.0.7 (25.08.2020) beta but the change log says nothing about pass-through fixes.

I did a new test in case they have made any changes to pass-through, but i get the same reboot when playing DTS audio with pass-through enabled.

Vladimir Manov, please fix that DTS pass-through. We want to be able to listen to 5.1 audio!

fix: Fixed crash with DTS pass-through.

Maybe this is fixed but there still seems to be other sound issue viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1513&start=10#p5423 and i see no reason to update before all these sound issues have been fixed.

It seems that firmware 5.0.16 now can play DTS with pass-through without restart or any white noise. I have tested it for a couple of days and so far only issue with one video and that could be an issue with the video and not the box.

Still reboot issues with pass-through and some of the streams in firmware 5.0.16. I have now updated to 5.0.20 beta to see if this is fixed or not.

When playing DD 5.1 audio from a stream with firmware 5.0.20 beta it will freeze the picture/sound if pass-through is enabled. If i set it back to PCM there are no issues with the picture or audio. I have change it back and forth at least 20 times, so i know there is not an issue with the stream.
So the pass-through is still not working as it should. It has been much better but there is still something that make the box not work as it should.

As i wrote I'm running 5.0.20 but some channels will still reboot the TVIP box. After the reboot the sound will sometimes not work so i need to do another manual reboot (pull the power or do an S.INFO, 1, 9, S.INFO) to get the sound back.

If i change it to PCM i don't get any reboots or any other issues, so there is still something wrong with the pass-through on 5.0.20 beta.
